- High background noise

- System pressure is stable
- The pump leak diagnostics pass
- Back pressure regulator is installed
- The filter time constant is programmed correctly
- System was flushed according to cleaning protocol

- Solvent A: 90/10 H2O/CH3CN
- Solvent B: 95/5 CH3CN/THF
- Wash: 70/15/15 H2O/CH3CN/2-propanol
- Purge and Seal Wash: 90/10 H2O/CH3CN
CAUSE
The solvent bottles are dirty and contaminated.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Replace all glassware. Use brand new solvent bottles and freshly prepared solvents.
