SYMPTOMS
- Powered-on FLR and received a dark current error in the console
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY FLR
- Console
- Empower
- MassLynx
CAUSE
Air in the flow cell or dirty flow cell.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Flush FLR with new degassed water at 1.0 mL/min for several minutes.
- Power cycle the system to run through initialization diagnostics while water is flowing through the cell.
- If error is still present, flush with MeOH or ACN for several minutes.
- Switch back to water and flush again for several minutes.
- Power cycle the system to run through initialization diagnostics while water is flowing through the cell.
