SYMPTOMS

• Acquired PDA data appears as a flat baseline in MassLynx

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector
• MassLynx

CAUSE

As the default in MassLynx, the chromatogram and spectrum view settings are set not to show negative data.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. For a chromatogram, go to Display > View and select "Lowest Point" in the Normalize Data To: box.
2. For a spectrum, go to Display > View and select "Show Negative Data" in the Style box.
