CAUSE
Extended Needle Wash mode selection, Run needle wash as both pre and post while sample is in place at needle. This may cause area count variation.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Do not use needle wash mode as EXTENDED in Alliance HPLC having firmware 3.04.
- Always use needle wash mode as NORMAL or Double with this firmware.
