Injection reproducibility issue with Alliance and Empower - WKB30289

SYMPTOMS
- Peaks are much smaller than usual (low height and area)
- Column is not an issue
- Temperature normal
ENVIRONMENT
- Alliance HPLC System
- 2695 Separations Module
- 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
- 2489 UV detector
- Empower 3
- Aqueous buffer mobile phase
CAUSE
Possibly dirty flowcell, or injector has bubbles.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Purge the injector for 20 cycles.
- Run the needle wash/seal wash prime for 10 minutes (Home > Diag).
- Flush the system with 100% HPLC-grade water to remove any salt buildup.
- Wet prime with mobile phase.
- Repeat run.
