ANSWER

For ICS 1.42 and earlier:

• The needle should be in position 2 of the injection valve.
• The bubble detect (VDD) should be in position 3 of the injection valve.

For ICS 1.53 and later:

• The needle should be in position 3 of the injection valve.
• The bubble detect (VDD) should be in position 2 of the injection valve.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If the needle or the VDD had to be moved, prime the syringes, wash the needle, and then characterize the needle and loop volumes.
