SYMPTOMS
- "Instrument failure - End of run timed out at xxxx.x seconds. No reply from W2414#Serial Number" in message center
- Does not occur when injecting a sample/standard, only with Purge detector, Condition column, and Equilibrate
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3
- 2414 Refractive Index Detector
- RIU Mode
CAUSE
The 2414 method type of the instrument method used for purge/condition/equilibration is set to Acquisition.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- For the instrument method used for stabilization, modify the method type from Acquisition to Purge.
- When in W410 mode, the device is set according to the function of the sample set. However, in RIU mode, you must set the instrument method according to the function.
