Column pre-heater configured but not detected - WKB268235

SYMPTOMS

• Column pre-heater configured but not detected when setting up or running a method
• Active pre-heater is disabled in the ACQUITY Console configuration 

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager- Active
• ACQUITY UPLC Column Heater- Active 

CAUSE

The Instrument method configuration does not match the physical Instrument configuration. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In the Instrument method control, select Active Preheater as "Use Console Configuration".
