SYMPTOMS

• High seal wash consumption
• No leaks detected near pump
• Pump is fully functional

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• ACQUITY UPLC BSM/QSM
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class BSM
• ACQUITY Arc QSM

CAUSE

The pump module is constantly pumping seal wash, even when the pump is not running.

Software or module is stuck in the last loaded method concerning the seal wash routine.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Restart the PC and the LC system.
