SYMPTOMS

• Alliance pump head leaks from the seal wash tubing when priming seal wash

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module
• 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
• 2795 Separations Module

CAUSE

seal wash tubing not correctly seated in pump head

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reseat tubing fully into the pump head using needle nose pliers
2. Slightly loosening the head retaining nut can help tubing to slip in more easily, retighten afterwards
3. Prime seal wash and confirm that no leaks exist.
