OBJECTIVE or GOAL

• Clear the warning “Lamp Hours Exceeds Warning Level”

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector
• 2489 UV/Vis Detector
• 2998 Photodiode Array Detector
• ACQUITY UPLC Tunable UV Detector

PROCEDURE

1. Open the Console window
2. Click "PDA Detector" in the tree bar on the left side of the Console window.
3. On the window displayed on the right, click the indicator that stands for the lamp hours of the PDA.
4. On the "Lamp Life Indicator" screen, uncheck “Enable lamp life warning level” or change the 2000 hours to a larger number
5. Click the green check mark
