ENVIRONMENT

• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

1. Defective check valve
2. Defective solvent filter
3. The mobile phase in the unused lines has a little contact with the mobile phase at the GPV.
4. Contamination of dust or the like in the mobile phase bottle

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Clean or replace the check valves.
2. Replace the solvent filter (the filter at the end of the tube in the solvent bottle).
3. If lines other than the mobile phase line are 100% acetonitrile, change to methanol/water, etc.
4. Cap the mobile phase bottle.
