SYMPTOMS
- System overpressures at 300 psi and above
ENVIRONMENT
- Alliance HPLC System
- 2695 Separations Module
- 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
- 2795 Separations Module
CAUSE
The currently stored method's high pressure limit is lower than the normal expected psi.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Do one of the following"
- Via the front panel of the Alliance, choose default as the method.
- Edit the instrument method via the front panel of the Alliance to increase the maximum pressure.
- Power cycle the Alliance to get the system to default to normal pressures.
- In Empower or MassLynx, click setup new method to get the flow going. This sets the maximum pressure to what is in the method.
