ACQUITY Classic fails SQT injector carryover test - WKB231433

SYMPTOMS

• ACQUITY Classic fails SQT injector carryover test 
• PM performed and all PM testing passed
• All other SQT tests passed 

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager

CAUSE

PEEK ferrule connecting needle to injection valve is slightly too wide and not fitted well, creating void volume.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the PEEK ferrule connecting the needle to the injection valve.
