SYMPTOMS

• Column Heater Module (CHM) does not heat 
• Post Column Reaction Module (PCRM) does not heat
• Power switch is turned on
• 2414 controls CHM
• TCM II controls CHM or PCRM

ENVIRONMENT

• Column Heater Module (CHM)
• Post Column Reaction Module (PCRM)
• 2414 Refractive Index Detector
• Alliance HPLC System
• e2695 Separations Module
• Temperature Control Module II (TCM II)

CAUSE

The CHM or PCRM power cable is not connected.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the sticker that hides the power entry on the CHM or PCRM.
2. Plug in the power cable.
