No flow with ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Bio QSM - WKB225015

SYMPTOMS

• No solvent out the waste line when priming
• No solvent when running flow

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Bio Quaternary Solvent Manager (QSM)
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class PLUS

CAUSE

MP35N tubing is overtightened or blocked. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Loosen all primary pump fittings. 
2. Prime the pump and inspect for leaks.
3. Tighten fittings until leaking stops and flow is restored; replace tubing if necessary. 
4. If necessary, repeat the process with accumulator pump head.
5. Run the leak test.
