  • Increasing pressure spike at injection

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY UPLC M-Class

CAUSE

Leaking tubings from flow control module to filters on both A and B lines

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Replace tubing: Filter to Inlet A, FCM (700009850).
  2. Replace tubing: Filter to Inlet B, FCM (700009851).
  3. Run Autozero, and set pressure diagnostics as described in wkb25522 and wkb9063.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The pressure spike at injection was resolved after tubing replacement. A new column resolved the retention time issue.
