ACQUITY BSM intermittent communications error - WKB19892

SYMPTOMS

  • ACQUITY Console shows BSM communication error for few seconds, then it clears itself, then the error shows again
  • The cycle continues

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx SCN 876/917 IVD
  • ICOP 1.50

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Unconfigure the system in the inlet editor.
  2. From Tools > Instrument configuration, select Setup, and then remove ICOP.
  3. Reboot the PC.
  4. Reinstall 1.50 ICOP (from Inlet Editor Tools > Instrument Configuration > Setup).
  5. Reconfigure the system in the inlet editor.
  6. In the console, check for consistent communications.
