OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Install a specific ACQUITY driver in MassLynx.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• ACQUITY UPLC 

PROCEDURE

1. Open MassLynx.
2. Open the inlet method.
3. Click Tools > Instrument Configuration > Setup Instrument.
4. Click Next > Install.
5. Click that you read the release notes, and then click Next.
6. Agree to the license terms and conditions and click Next.
7. Choose Custom.
8. Select the driver you want to add.
9. Click Next then finished.
10. The driver is installed, and then you are prompted to restart the computer. You must configure the system to add the new component.
