How to auto-zero nanoACQUITY and M-Class flow transducers - WKB1757

Article number: 1757

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Use the optimal procedure to perform the autozero function on  ACQUITY M-Class and nanoACQUITY flow transducers.

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY M-Class System
  • nanoACQUITY

PROCEDURE

  1. Run a 50:50 gradient using set pressure diagnostics to fully prime the system (minimum 10 minutes).
  2. Stop the flow and wait 30 minutes.
  3. Auto-zero the flow transducers using the ACQUITY console.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This procedure ensures that the auto-zero is performed correctly. The temperature of the pump heads immediately after a priming can cause fluid pressure within the system, resulting in a false bias that can affect the auto-zero procedure.
