SYMPTOMS

• Error "Missing/wrong plate or vial" is not triggered when vials are missing

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager 
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS (SM-FTN PLUS)

CAUSE

Using the "ANSI-48 Vials 2 mL Holder" in a sample set with plate "48 vials 2 mL holder" configured instead of "ANSI-48 Vials 2 mL Holder".

FIX or WORKAROUND

Set the ANSI-48 Vials 2 mL Holder on the sample set.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

48 vials 2 mL holder has a plate height of 25 mm, but ANSI-48 Vials 2 mL Holder has a plate height of 38 mm, so when the sample manager tries to inject the samples it finds the plate and the error is not triggered.
