• Loosening outlet of gradient proportioning valve shows free flow of solvent
• Loosening primary pump head tubing to check valve shows free flow of solvent

CAUSE

The check valve is stuck.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the check valve (700000254).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You can also try sonicating the check valves in 50/50 methanol/water for 30 mins as a temporary fix.
