SYMPTOMS
- The system pressure reached 1500 psi comparing to the pressure limit of 1200 psi.
- The system pressure was normal during equilibration, but started to rise slowly after sample injection and exceeded the pressure limit at last.
- This issue occurred repeatedly.
ENVIRONMENT
- 2695 Separations Module
CAUSE
The guard column was damaged.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Replace the guard column with a new one.
