SYMPTOMS

• The system pressure reached 1500 psi comparing to the pressure limit of 1200 psi.
• The system pressure was normal during equilibration, but started to rise slowly after sample injection and exceeded the pressure limit at last.
• This issue occurred repeatedly.

ENVIRONMENT

• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

The guard column was damaged.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the guard column with a new one.
