Column Manager gives poor peak shape - WKB111230

SYMPTOMS

• Column Manager tubing/valves gives poor peak shape
• Switch column positions to isolate if poor peak shape is specific to one column position
• Make sure tubing is not kinked or visibly damaged/leaking
• If poor peak shape persists after replacing tubing then valves may be source of the problem

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager Active

CAUSE

Tubing/valves affecting sample reaching detector.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the column manager tubing by isolating which tubing gives poor peak shape.

If valves are responsible replace the specific valve required for that module.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Various different tubing lengths and valves are orderable so parts locator should be checked for exactly what is required.
