SYMPTOMS

• Poor reproducibility from injection to injection
• Random drops in sample manager pressure during injection cycle
• "Sample Draw Rate Exceeded" messages
• Correlation observed between sample pressure drops in Sample Manager - FTN+ and low peak response in chromatogram

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS (SM-FTN PLUS)

CAUSE

Air in the sample manager fluidics lines

FIX or WORKAROUND

Prime the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS (SM-FTN PLUS) from the ACQUITY Console.
