2695 needle wash solution does not drain - WKB106828

SYMPTOMS

• The wash solution is not flowing out from the waste line (yellow) for the needle wash solution.
• Proper level of needle wash solvent.
• Can hear needle wash pump working.

ENVIRONMENT

2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

Pump is not strong enough.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Execute needle wash while injecting needle wash solvent from the inlet by a syringe until you can see the liquid leave the drain tube or bypass the seal pack during a prime.
2. When the tube is filled, you no longer need the syringe and the needle wash works.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If still not working, replace needle wash pump.
