2545 Binary Gradient Module fails the static decay test - WKB102177

SYMPTOMS

• One head fails the static decay test at 5000 psi
• Dramatic failure in pressure when running the leak test
• Test fails regardless of solvent
• New check valves, seals, head, wash housing, and plunger make no difference

ENVIRONMENT

• 2545 Binary Gradient Module

CAUSE

Leak on the transducer outlet tubing to the solvent selector manifold

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the tubing.
