Adding a component to an analysis method from scientific library does not import adducts from detection results - WKB274445

Article number: 274445

SYMPTOMS

  • When you add a component to the Purpose section of a UNIFI analysis method by importing it from a scientific library and the library entry has detection results, some of those results do not appear in the analysis method
  • In particular, if the detection results include known adducts, those adducts are not imported into the Adducts column of the Purpose section of the analysis method; the Adducts column will be emtpy in the method
  • As a result, when that method is used to analyze data, only the adducts specified in Analysis Specific Settings > Adducts are included in the search
