SYMPTOMS
- When you add a component to the Purpose section of a UNIFI analysis method by importing it from a scientific library and the library entry has detection results, some of those results do not appear in the analysis method
- In particular, if the detection results include known adducts, those adducts are not imported into the Adducts column of the Purpose section of the analysis method; the Adducts column will be emtpy in the method
- As a result, when that method is used to analyze data, only the adducts specified in Analysis Specific Settings > Adducts are included in the search

FIX or WORKAROUND
- In Scientific Library, make a note of any adducts recorded in the detection results for a library entry that you want to add to the list of components in your analysis method.
- After adding the components to the Purpose section of the method, go to Analysis Specific Settings > Adducts and manually select the adducts found in the detection results for the component or components that you added to your method.
