Issues exporting UNIFI report files to .xls (Excel format) - WKB269646

SYMPTOMS

• Very large UNIFI reports (>500 pages) cannot be exported to .xls (Microsoft Excel) format

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI

CAUSE

Too many items in work in progress and/or other UNIFI acquisition or processing tasks competing for resources

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Wait for any active UNIFI data acquisition and/or data process to finish.
2. Close all Work in Progress items other than the analysis from which you want to export the report to .xls format.
3. Export the report to .xls.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Depending on the report template used, when you export the report to .xls it creates an Excel file containing many worksheets. According to Microsoft, the number of worksheets per file is not limited by Excel; it is restricted only by the amount of available RAM.
