How do you add a library on waters connect? - WKB248993

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Want to add libraries to a current waters_connect installation.

ENVIRONMENT

  • waters_connect 1.9.13

PROCEDURE

  1. Go to the waters_connect HUB and launch the Administration tile.
  2. In the Administration window, select Administration from the homepage menu.
  3. In the Areas of Administration, go to the Scientific Library option and select Manage Libraries (see red arrow in picture below):Manage Libraries.jpg
  4. In the Manage Libraries pane, go to the Administrative Links and choose Import library items (see red arrow in picture below):import library items.jpg
  5. Choose waters_connect library container file as the type of import.
  6. Browse to the location of the library file or *.ulc file.
  7. Input a name for the library under Library to Create.
  8. Put in a description for the library under Library Description (see example below):library import example.jpg
  9. Hit Import and wait for the process to finish/succeed. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Some libraries require a library license to be registered before they can be used.
