LND won't reset in UNIFI - WKB7129

SYMPTOMS

  • No communication with system.
  • LND will not reset from Device Management.

ENVIRONMENT

  • UNIFI Workgroup

CAUSE

LND needs a hard restart.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Close out of any client UNIFI sessions.
  2. Log onto LND.
  3. Restart LND.
  4. Reboot MS EPC to ensure that communication is present with LND.
  5. Open UNIFI session.
  6. Open Administration page and click Device Management.
  7. Select the Laboratory Network Devices tab.
  8. Select the LND that was restarted.
  9. Right-click and select Reset LND.
  10. Once LND is reset through UNIFI, go to the Instrument Console to see that communication is present with system.
