System with Xevo G2-XS QTof on UNIFI does not go into Operate mode - WKB53496

SYMPTOMS

• When the operate button is clicked, the system appears to be starting, but then it reverts to Standby

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS QTof
• UNIFI

CAUSE

Communications issue

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In Administration, navigate to the instrument system, and take the system off line.

2. Take the LND (or workstation) off line. (This may fail, with an LND unavailable error.)

3. Restart the workstation or LND and allow time for all of the UNIFI Services to start.

4. Open the UNIFI Client, and then reboot the EPC.
