How to Manually Pick Peaks in UNIFI's Intellistart Calibration Routine - WKB4526

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Manually match peaks against the expected calibration masses display in UNIFI.

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.8.1

PROCEDURE

1. After running the Calibration routine, go to the Results pane.
2. Select the result that shows a status of Ready for Peak Matching.
3. Right-click the entry and select Peak Match to open the Calibration Peak Matching window.
4. Click and drag across the area of the spectrum requiring peak matching.
5. Select a an appropriate peak in the acquired spectrum so that peak becomes highlighted.
6. Select the appropriate, corresponding, reference peak in the reference spectrum; now both the reference and acquired peaks are highlighted.
7. Continue until all or most peaks are matched.
8. Click on Create Calibration.
9. If the residuals are acceptable, click Accept.
