UNIFI error message: Cannot acquire analysis, the mass range does not agree - WKB3200

SYMPTOMS

• When the sample set starts, there is a UNIFI error message: Cannot acquire analysis, the mass range does not agree

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.8.1

CAUSE

The calibration mass range and the analysis mass range do not match.  

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In the instrument system control, under the MS, go to Setup and configure.
2. Be sure to select a calibration that fits the mass range of the analysis being run. 
3. When a calibration with the correct mass range is selected, click Apply.
4. Start.
