SYMPTOMS

• Pos and/or Neg fails detector setup
• Error message "Too many intensity drop outs"

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI
• Xevo G2-S
• Xevo G2-XS

CAUSE

Incorrect settings for the DRE lenses and collision cell.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Use the default settings for the Collision cell and DRE lenses.

Xevo G2-S/XS
Collector = 60
Collector Pulse = 10.0
Stopper = 10
Stopper Pulse = 20.0

Xevo G2-S only
Entrance = 2
Static offset = 120
Exit = 15 in Sensitivity mode, 5 in Resolution mode
T-Wave trap height = 4
T-Wave extract height = 15 in Sensitivity mode,  5 in Resolution mode

Xevo G2-XS only
Entrance DC = 2
Cell Gradient = 1.0
Static Offset DC (Cell Offset A) = 120
Cell Offset B = 0
Cell Offset C = +0.5
Exit = 15 in Sensitivity mode, 5 in Resolution mode
