How to include TICs in a UNIFI report template for unprocessed data - WKB28289

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Add to a report template the chromatogram's TIC from unprocessed data (such as a sample set only).

ENVIRONMENT

  • UNIFI 1.8.2
  • UNIFI 1.9.0

PROCEDURE

  1. Select the sample set in Explorer.
  2. Go to the Report tab.
  3. Under Report Objects, show the section for Plots, and then expand the contents.
  4. Look for the subcategory "Chromatogram" and expand the contents.
  5. Select "Autoscaled chromatograms" and add this to the template (see the red star in the image below).

6.  The object is now placed in the report. On this object, click on the filter icon (see the red arrow in the image above).

7.  A Filters window appears. Select the Channel choice on the left.

8.  Change the "Match all these expressions" criteria to say "Channel name".

9.  In the next field, leave the value as "is".

10.  In the following field, type in TIC. (This will autopopulate with choices that have TIC in their names.)Filter window.png

11.  Select for the desired TIC trace, and then click OK.

12.  The template now has an example TIC chromatogram (see below).
