UNIFI 1.9.2 or 1.9.3 Network: Method upgrade or import error - WKB23273

SYMPTOMS

• An error occurs when trying to upgrade a method created in a previous version of UNIFI.
• Vion installation method UEP files imported into UNIFI Network system appear corrupted when you open them. No error is reported during UEP import. The same UEP files do not appear corrupted when imported into a UNIFI Workstation system

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.2
• UNIFI 1.9.3

CAUSE

Defect in the UNIFI network CR is US1#216993.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Upgrade the method on the UNIFI server before opening on the client. Use the "Legacy Methods" document attached as a guide.
