SYMPTOMS

• Analysis method is very slow to open after a signature method is attached

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.4 and earlier versions

CAUSE

Signature methods take approximately 70 seconds to open and, when added to an analysis method, make the total time to open increase by the same amount. Defect CRI-4014 was recorded against UNIFI 1.9.4. It appears that this time to open increases with time.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Workaround for UNIFI 1.9.4:

1. Use a template analysis method with no attached signature method for making necessary edits.
2. Then, add only the signature method prior to using in an analysis.
