OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Prevent a user from deleting samples in UNIFI.        

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.4 workstation

PROCEDURE

1. Log in with a UNIFI administrator account.
2. Go to Administration.
3. Select Security.
4. Find the Role being used for the specified user and highlight the line from the list.
5. Select Modify.
6. In the Roles Editor window, look for the Analysis Center section to find suitable permissions to remove from the user's role, such as "Delete Sample Set/Sample Data", "Remove Injection from Analysis", or "Modify Running SampleList".
7. Save / update the options.
