Event log does not show Item ID or Item Version for imported UEP data - WKB221735

Article number: 221735

SYMPTOMS

  • Event log does not show Item ID or Item Version for imported UEP data

ENVIRONMENT

  • UNIFI 1.9.4 and later

CAUSE

CRI-3437

FIX or WORKAROUND

When importing UEP data created in an older version of UNIFI, the ItemID and Itemversion columns from Event Log will not be filled with the information about the imported item (this issue will be considered for fixing under CRI-3437), but you can still get the information you need by doing the following:

  1. Open the Event log and select the line corresponding to "imported item event". Expand the details and find the name, version, and itemid and location for the imported item.

  2. Open Explorer, select the item, and then right-click and select "View Audit Trail".

  3. You will see entries related to the versions of the analysis from the previous installation and also the Itemversion and ItemID for the item on the original installation.
  4. Also, there will be an audit entry related to "imported' version that shows the new ItemID and Itemversion from the current installation.
