Cannot install UNIFI on Windows 10; error "ASP.Net Version 4.5 is installed" - WKB22051

SYMPTOMS

• Unable to progress with UNIFI installer on Windows 10 due to error "ASP.Net Version 4.5 is installed"

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.x

CAUSE

.NET 4.7 is installed, but the ASP.NET 4.7 must be activated in Windows Features.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs.
2. Click "Turn Windows Features on or off".
3. Expand .NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Services.
4. Select ASP.NET 4.7

5. Click OK.
6. Restart the UNIFI installer.
