SYMPTOMS

• Lenovo C30-1136 computer powers-up and the lights are on, but the monitor is blank
• Rebooting the computer does not help
• Behavior is the same with a different monitor

ENVIRONMENT

• Lenovo C30-1136 Workstation

CAUSE

This is a known issue that can happen following power loss to a USB 3.0 port.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Unplug all serial, Ethernet, and USB connections to the PC and reboot the computer with only the monitor connected.
