The Pretreatment Method, Auxiliary Channels, and General tabs are missing in the Instrument Method for the Agilent AGGC using Agilent ICF Support 3.0 - WKB27623

SYMPTOMS

Pretreatment Method, Auxiliary Channels, and General tabs are blank.

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent 7890 GC
• Empower 3
• Agilent Instrument Control Framework (ICF) Support Version 3.0

CAUSE

• PCS 55755 - The Pretreatment tab in the Instrument Method Editor is for LC instrument methods. It is not used in GC instrument methods.
• PCS 55502, 55503: The General tab in the instrument method editor contains information that pertains to LC methods only. When working with instrument methods for GC instruments, the General tab is left blank.  
• If there are no Auxiliary options installed on the GC, then there is nothing in this tab.
