Error code 127, "can't install print processor", during UNIFY installation - WKB969

SYMPTOMS

• Error code 127, "can't install print processor", appears during installation process for NuGenesis UNIFY printer

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8
• Windows 7 x64/x86

CAUSE

This is a known issue with NuGenesis UNIFY.  Software Change Request (SCR) 17799 was filed for this issue.

This error occurs if UNIFY is installed after a Service Release or Feature Release update.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Uninstall all NuGenesis 8 SDMS components from the machine and re-install them, with the Service Release or Feature Release patch as the last component to be installed.
