SYMPTOMS

• Error when attempting to preview a printed report in NuGenesis Vision

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SR2
• NuGenesis 9

CAUSE

Full Control was not granted to C:\Program Files\NuGenesis 8.0\temp\NugnTemp folder.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Grant full control to C:\Program Files\NuGenesis 8.0\temp\NugnTemp folder.
2. Also, ensure that the location specified for the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NuGenesis Technologies Corp.\NuGenesis\Preview - 'TempFolder' exists. This can sometimes be set to %TEMP%, C:\TempFolder, <BLANK> or something else.

Please ensure that there is sufficient disk space for files. If there is sufficient disk space please try again as network \DB connection may have been lost.

Grant full control starting at NuGenesis 8.0 folder and propogate the permissions to all sub folders.
