SYMPTOMS
- "User or Password is incorrect" while logging in to NuGenesis LMS
- No special characters used in username or password while creating an Oracle user
- Not an LDAP account
- Sync NuGenesis users action also performed in SDMS
ENVIRONMENT
- NuGenesis 8 SDMS
- NuGenesis 8 LMS
- NuGenesis 9 SDMS
- NuGenesis 9 LMS
CAUSE
The trigger was designed to synchronize the users for systems that are used only for LDAP, in which case password management is through the LDAP server, not for a standalone.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Manually set the password for the user in LMS.
