ORA-2000x errors are not shown in NuGenesis SDMS software when changing a user password to one that is not allowed by the verify function - WKB90381

SYMPTOMS

• When changing an SDMS user's Oracle account password, the message "ORA-28003: password verification for the specified password failed" appears
• The message does not contain any ORA-2000x error messages; such messages, if present, would state the specific reason why the password failed verification

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• One or more SDMS user accounts have an Oracle user ID
• The user's Oracle account uses the profile SDMSPROFILE
• SDMSPROFILE uses the function "nugenesis_verify_function" as its password verification function
