The error "The system cannot find the file specified" appears in the NuGenesis TE_TEMP .Mark_bad files and AA log shows a rollback error - WKB72933

SYMPTOMS

• .Mark_bad files found in TE_TEMP with the repeated error "The system cannot find the file specified" 
• When files in TE_TEMP are sorted by creation date, no other files are found near the time the .Mark_bad file was created 
• The AA log shows a rollback error because the Archive bit could not be flipped at the same date/time the .Mark_bad file was created in TE_TEMP

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8

CAUSE

This is a known issue where the NGD file is not deleted if the NuGenesis File Capture server is capturing group data and the Service account user cannot reset the Archive bit in scan path. All files except the NGD are deleted from the group of files that were copied into TE_TEMP. The NGD is then changed to .Mark_bad when the TE fails to find the other files in the group. 

SCR 16893 has been created to track this issue. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. When the NuGenesis RPC Service account user is given at least the modify permission for all files in the scan path, the error will not happen again. 
2. Any .Mark_bad files in TE_TEMP must be manually removed.
