Add an additional column for original scan path details in Vision.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

PROCEDURE

In NuGenesis Vision, the original scan path is viewed only when a user clicks on the view details > file properties. If the user wants to have this as a separate column with the original scan path details for all the rows, the following steps are required in “NuGenesis SDMS Administrator”.

1. Log in to SDMS Admin.
2. Click on the project in which you want to add a column.
3. On the "View Tags" screen, edit one of the "User definable field" labels (see the attached screenshot).
4. Click Save.
5. Right-click the project.
6. Click Properties.
7. On the Templates tab, select a template and click Edit.
8. Select the Tag Marker for your new Tag Label.
9. In the Tag Marker drop-down, select FILE PATH.
10. Save.
11. Log in to Vision to confirm.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The scan path should populate on the next data capture. Because the scan lines have individual configurations, you only see the File Path for data from the template line configured.
