Yes, if the instrument supports a USB-RS232 converter or offers other means of converting a physical port on the instrument to a 9-pin serial port. Contact the device's manufacturer to see if a converter cable is available.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Some instruments have an Ethernet port for connecting the machine directly to a network. SDS does not support connecting to instruments via direct Ethernet connections.
